The AP Aviation Academy - voted best training organisation in India - is now using a device designed and
built by Elite Simulation Solutions to help train pilots fly the glass cockpit version of Cessna 172R.
Elite has installed the Evolution iGATE S1000 advanced ATD at the Academy's headquarters at Begumpet
Airport, Hyderabad. The device has exact replication of the glass cockpit of the C172R, a 3-channel visual
system featuring custom-built India RealView airport scenery with 60cm aerial photography resolution, and
3D replication of every building at the airport.
The Academy can trace its history to 1932, when it was opened as the AP Flying Club under the guidance
of the ex-ruler Nizam of Hyderabad. It became AP Aviation Academy in 1998 and currently runs a fleet of two Cessna C152s and two Cessna 172Rs, both with glass cockpit. |

The Elite Evolution iGATE S512 system is configured to represent the Piper Seneca III twin piston
engine aircraft but is easily convertible to represent the single engine Cessna C172 – both of which types are in the company’s fleet.
The S512 is an advanced training system that is equipped with a fully enclosed cockpit, a threechannel external vision system and real time Garmin GNS530 GPS. |

| Australia’s largest independent regional airline buys elite again |
Rex Airlines, Australia’s largest independent regional airline which was named Regional Airline of the year in both 2007 and 2008, has through its subsidiary flight training school, Australian Airline Pilot’s Academy, purchased a second iGate flight training device from Switzerland-based Elite Simulation Solutions.
It is a CASA approved Elite iGATE G523 MCC version configured to faithfully represent the Beech Super King Air B200 twin turbine aircraft. It is fitted with the recently developed RealView Australia South East visual system and custom built 3D scenery of Rex’s main base at Wagga Wagga Airport. It also has an original Garmin GNS430 and a five-channel external projected visual system.
The purchase by Rex of this iGATE follows an earlier purchase of the same trainer but with 3D scenery of Mangalore Airport. Both were purchased through Elite’s Australian agent and dealer, Simflight Pty Ltd. |

| On days when it doesn’t shine in Brazil elite simulator will help BHS pilots prepare for the worst |
Even though there are over 300 days of sunshine in Macae, the petroleum capital of Brazil, bad weather and night flying mean that Brazilian Helicopter Services (BHS) crews have to be prepared for the worst conditions offshore.
Also, with three airports and an offshore operation about to start in Rio de Janeiro, pilots need to be well versed in IFR procedures.
Hence, part of the reason for BHS choosing an Elite S623 helicopter simulator to train pilots and offer them currency training.
The S623 from Zurich-based Elite Simulator Solutions has a custom designed layout that will be featured in all future orders from BHS’ parent organisation, CHC Global Group. |

| Second simulator for severn aviation will be first elite simulator for twin engine helicopters |
A second simulator designed and built by Elite Simulation Solutions for Seven Aviation, the specialist helicopter training school and charter company based at Gloucestershire Airport, will eventually become the first simulator from the company to replicate twin engined helicopters.
Severn already operates an Elite S723 FNPT II simulator and is getting outstanding results from it.
The second S723 has been installed in early October and iniitally will also replicate the Eurocopter AS350B (Squirrel) – but provision has been made for the installation of equipment that will take it forward to be able to replicate the Twin Squirrel, so it will thus become Elite’s first twin engine helicopter device. |

ORLANDO, Fl. – June 16, 2009 – The ELITE Helicopter
S623 received FAA certification as an Advanced Aviation
Training Device (AATD) with the maximum flying hour
credits that can be awarded to a helicopter FTD. The S623
previously received numerous certifications in several
countries and is being used in South America, Europe,
Australia, New Zealand and Africa.
The S623 is a dual control, single engine turbine helicopter trainer designed and modeled after the Eurocopter AS 350. Optional equipment includes EFIS, GPS WAAS navigation, Flight Directors and radar altimeter. A twin engine turbine model is currently in development. |

| Poland’s largest air freight operator goes elite |
The largest air cargo operator in Poland, Exin Sp. z o.o. is now using an Elite S812 FNPT II to help
train its pilots. Exin was founded in 1991 and provides express delivery services for DHL, individual
clients from the European Union and also to companies in other European countries and Northern
Africa.
Exin is based at Katowice and has 86 staff, 59 of them being licensed aviation personnel, The
company is holder of certificates required by EASA, European Union law and aviation authorities such
as Air Operator Certificate (AOC), PART 145 and PART M Certificates and an FTO/TRTO Certificate.
Exin operates six AN-26B twin turbine aircraft, with another due to be delivered in the second half of
this year. Currently all fly for DHL, for whom they have been operating for 16 years. |

Austrian university, will be able to keep cool, thanks to a special ventilation system.
FH JOANNEUM University is based at Graz, in the south-east of Austria, and has other
centres at Kapfenberg and Bad Gleichenberg. The department specialises in applied
sciences, one division being flight training, for which it offers a full-time diploma course.
The Elite Evolution S923 FNPT II MCC (Multi Crew Co-operation) simulator for the university
is configured to represent both the Beech KingAir B200 twin turbine aircraft and the twin
piston-engined Piper Seneca III. |

| Elite ‘first’ dual pilot with GNS530 in India |
The first Elite dual pilot fixed-wing aircraft simulator fitted with an original Garmin GNS530 unit has been sold – to the Saraswati Aviation Academy in India, where civil aviation is booming alongside the nation’s rapidly expanding economy.
As units such as the Garmin GNS530 are now widely fitted into new aircraft as OEMs and are being retro-fitted into existing aircraft, so flight simulators have to be similarly equipped for student pilots to gain a full understanding of the unit’s capabilities before taking to real aircraft.
Hence the purchase by Saraswati of the Elite S523 iGATE advanced aircraft training device (AATD), in a deal handled for Elite by the company’s agents in India, SRK Aviacom (I) Pvt Ltd. |

| Pilatus contracts elite simulation solutions AG for a PC-9M simulator |
Zurich, April 2003, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd has awarded a contract to design and build a PC-9M aircraft STD to Elite Simulation Solutions, the Swiss-based world-leading manufacturer of PC-based IFR training systems.
The new simulator is for the Irish Air Corps (IAC) to train pilots to fly the PC-9M training aircraft, 8 of which have been ordered from Pilatus by the Irish Minister for Defence.
Elite will develop and produce the PC-9M STD (Synthetic Training Device) and a complete integrated logistics package. The STD will be an integral part of a ground-based training system that will be delivered to the IAC in May 2004 and which will use Elite’s advanced PC-based software. |

| Largest FTO in Greece buys elite simulator |
Global Air Services, the largest flight training organisation in Greece, and one of the major ones throughout the South East Europe region, has bought an Elite S812 FPT II simulator to help train pilots on its all-Piper fleet.
The single pilot version of Elite’s S812 is configured to represent the Piper Seneca III twin piston engine aircraft and features 3-channel visuals incorporating GenView Europe South East scenery that covers Greece and neighbouring countries. Factory acceptance of the device has been completed and the new S812 is schedule for installation at Global’s operational centre in Athens in November. |

| FAA takes delivery of first elite G58 advanced ATD |
ELITE Simulation Solutions announces FAA certification of their Garmin G1000-equipped Advanced Aviation Training Devices. The approval was made official following an evaluation of one of the devices at FAA headquarters in Washington, DC.
The iGATE® Model G500-G1K series trainers are outfitted with the actual Garmin G1000 hardware utilizing the now familiar 10.4” PFD/MFD display pair. Single engine models currently include the Cessna 172S, Diamond DA40, and Beechcraft Bonanza G36. Twin engine versions include the Diamond DA42 and Beechcraft Baron G58. Additional aircraft versions will become available as the fleet of G1000-equipped aircraft grows. |

| Polish flying school puts elite S812 to use |
Rapidly-expanding Polish flight training organisation Adriana SA is now using an Elite Evolution S812 FNPTII (Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer) at its headquarters at Watorowo Airfield.
The S812 has been built so that it is quickly convertible from a configuration representing the complex single-engine piper PA-28 Arrow IV to the twin-engine Piper PA-34 Seneca III. Adriana is a fully certified professional training school that owns the airfield, which has 24/7 lighting availability.
Adriana is currently seeking to have the airfield’s status upgraded to that of airport, with the intention of further expanding operations there. Among facilities offered to its students are an on-site hotel. |

Now with several months experience of using an Elite Simulation Solutions S712 FNPT simulator and
finding it both highly accurate in repeating the characteristics of the aircraft it is configured to represent, and also highly cost effective, the managing director of an Indian pilot training organisation says that all such organisations should go Elite.
Wing Commander Kirpal Singh Seth, who runs Sethsim in India’s capital, New Delhi, said they use the state of the art equipment to simulate various single and twin engine aircraft, including the Cessna C172R, Piper Seneca III, and the very popular Beech Super King Air B200 twin turbine widely used for training airline pilots. |

The first Elite Simulation Solutions flight simulator to be installed in the UK fitted with a dual control system is now being used to train pilots at the University of Salford.
The Elite Evolution S812 flight simulator is a FNPT II configured to replicate the Piper Seneca III twin piston aircraft built to be operated by a two-person crew.
The S812 also has special features built in so that, at some time in the future, it can be upgraded on site to represent a Beech King Air B200 twin turbine aircraft with full MCC (Multi Crew Co-operation). |
